Today, was just another day. Got up a bit late, around 6:30 a.m. I did a bit of the machine learning course in the morning. After which, I did my workout. Before my workout, I was once again browsing the different courses on Coursera / Edx related to image processing, sensor fusioh etc. It is easy to get carried forward in designing a very big system. To stop my self from doing that, I spent time designing the speicification for the 1st iteration of the drone.


The 1st iteration will consist of:(by December 2020)

- Have radio/wireless capabilities

- Interface with the I.M.U and motors

- Make the drone fly

- do some test to figure out the dynamic model of the drone

- Apply a simple controller to make it fly

- Use Kalman filter (sensor fusion) in the feedback process


As one can see, in the 1st iteration, there is no A.I. or computer vision. This will be the 2nd part.The 2nd phase will mostly be simulations. And the 3rd will be in manufacturing of components inhouse. Like the B.L.D.C Motor, the propellers, the chassis, cirucuit boards, cameras etc.


Continuing with my day, I had a few client work pending. I completed what was left to be completed. I cooked dinner and now wiriting this journal.
